St Matthew’s Sport Relief Video- Better When You’re Dancin’

To celebrate Sport Relief on Friday, all of the children and staff got their dancing shoes on and created a music video to the tune of ‘Better when you’re dancin’. We all had so much fun and couldn’t stop smiling all morning! We hope the following video also puts a smile on your face too!

Year 5 had a great time at Durham Cathedral singing with children from other schools in South Tyneside. The songs were varied from Panus Angelicus to The Hippopotamus Song and many others in between.

The Christmas Truce

The Christmas Truce

Yesterday, Year 6 held the annual St Matthew’s Christmas Truce football match. The game was played in the true spirit of 1914 and so no result was recorded! The children also produced some excellent art and written work in the afternoon. Well done Year 6!
