Boys storm into the Bishop’s Cup Final

Our boys football team have stormed into the final of this years Bishop’s Cup after a superb performance in tonight’s semi-final.

They played All Saints from Lanchester first and won 2-0 thanks to two excellent goals from Chrissy. Next was a very competitive match, with the boys facing several team-mates from their weekend teams, when they played St Josephs, Jarrow. Both teams had some great chances and thanks to some very confident goalkeeping from both sides, the score remained 0-0.

Their final game was against St Patrick’s, Consett and the boys pulled off their best performance of the night, winning 4-0, thanks to a hatrick from Chrissy and a goal from Ramin. Well done the boys!!
