County Finals

County Finals

Our Y4 and Y6 hockey teams represented South Tyneside today in the hockey county finals at The Parks Centre, North Shields.

Y4 played incredibly well and won their first game 2-0 – thanks to goals from Roman. They went on to win another 2 games and just missed out on a spot in the semi-finals.

Y6 started off brightly and were unfortunate to lose to a late goal against Kings Priory, Tynemouth. They then won 1-0 against Hetton Lyons, before losing 2-1 to Harlow Green- with the last strike of the ball. Their last game was another close contest against West Jesmond.

Both teams did incredibly well. Well done!
