Just to advise the date for Y6’s residential trip to Holy Island has changed from the 4th to the 11th of June- returning on the 13th. More details to be given later in the year.
A team of 6 children from Y4 took part in the South Tyneside Hockey Finals last week. The children played really well, winning two matches and losing one. They just missed out on progressing through to the semi-finals. Well done on a great effort!
A massive thank you to Nat’s Mam (Y6), whose company ‘Wings of Scent’, have very kindly offered to sponsor us and provide us with a new set of strips. The strips proved very lucky on their first outing with a 2-1 win over St Bede’s and a 9-1 victory over Bedeburn! Well done!
The Y5/6 football team played the 1st round of the Bishop’s Cup at St Aloysius last week. The first game, saw the team play a very competitive draw against the hosts. We have been amazed at the generosity of our families in our recent Buddy Workout- held to raise money for the NSPCC. A fantastic amount of £2219.50 was raised by our children. A special thank-you to our Reception children, who won the award for the best performing class!
