A Celtic Journey

Year 5 were amazing on Friday evening. Along with St Aloysius and St Peter and Paul’s schools and More Dance they presented the story of the Northern Saints through drama and dance in St Aloysius Church. The church was packed! Well done Year 5, I’m sure everyone there thoroughly enjoyed it.

Family Christmas Craft Afternoon

Many of our families spent the afternoon working together to design their annual family Christmas Cards. We had some fantastic designs and it was lovely to see so many of our families working together.

South Tyneside Cross Country- Key Stage 2

33 members of Key Stage 2 took part in the annual cross-country championships at Temple Park today. All of our children performed incredibly well – with some super individual performances. A special mention for our Year 3 girls, who had to run the course twice! 🙂 Well done Team Matthew’s!

Year 5 had a great time playing rugby. They played really well but unfortunately didn’t progress to the semi finals. However they demonstrated great skill, team work and gamesmanship. Well done everyone.
