Year 5 had a great day at The Dunes. They had two games of bowling which became very competitive, but was greatly enjoyed by all. They then went to the beach for a picnic and enjoyed digging holes and playing games in the sun. The day was rounded off nicely with an ice cream toContinue Reading
Year 5 completed their cars this week, then had great fun testing them. Some cars were more successful than others but all cars worked. Year 5 joined all their fellow Year 5s from other feeder schools for a day at St Joseph’s Catholic Academy. They worked in groups consisting of children from all schools and had a great time trying to complete various challenges that needed teamwork.
As always Year 5 excelled in their enthusiasm for World Book Day. Look at the photos and see the amazing characters they created from their favourite books.

Year 2 competed in a skipping challenge against 6 other primary schools at St Joseph’s Catholic Academy. We did very well with 2 firsts, 4 seconds and 3 third places. Well done everyone.
Year 2 had a great time studying habitats. We went pond dipping and found some interesting pond life, then we used twigs and other things we could find to make pictures of the creatures.
