Year 5 have had a great time working with Virgin Money to make £5 grow. They planned their own enterprises and made items to sell. We had cakes, lemonade, Pokemon pictures, bracelets, necklaces and hair accessories, sweets and a soak the teacher stall. Bishop’s Cup 2017 – Runners-up

Last Tuesday, the football team competed in the final of the Bishop’s Cup. Their first match was against St Mary Magdalene, Seaham, who were a really good footballing team and unfortunately nerves got the better of them and they lost 3-0. QuadKids Athletics – Key Stage 2

Last week, we took 35 children from Key Stage 2 to Monkton Stadium to take part in the South Tyneside QuadKids Athletic Tournament. The children all competed in 4 events – a sprint, a lap, the long jump and the howler (mini javelin).
