Our Eco-Warriors are on a mission!

Our Eco-Warriors have met with Kate Osborne MP to discuss St Matthew’s work to become a plastic free school. The children asked Kate some great questions about climate change and you never know…some of our questions may one day be asked in the Houses of Parliament! A huge thanks to Kate for spending so much of her valuable time with our children.

We are delighted to share that Sam in Y6 won the competition to design this year’s Christmas Card for our MP Kate Osbourne. Sam was awarded his own signed copy of the card and a special water bottle from the Houses of Parliament. A great achievement. Well done, Sam!

Year 5 Ice Skating December 21

Year 5 Ice Skating December 21

Year 5 went to the Centre for Life on Monday. They had a great time Ice Skating, many of the children rated ‘falling over on the ice’ as their favourite part of the day. They also visited the Space Station, the Planetarium, the Lego Exhibition and the Science Show. Great fun was had by all.
