The Stations of the Nativity

As we prepare to go into the 3rd week of Advent, the children of St Matthew’s have created their own Stations of the Nativity. Each Station you see, is created using the hand prints of our pupils – from Reception up to Year 6. During the course of this week, we will meet together in the hall and focus on a few Stations each day, retelling the beautiful story of the Nativity.

This morning, our Y5 and 6 Sportshall Athletics Team took part in the South Tyneside Finals at Temple Park. After weeks of training in PE lessons, all of the children performed brilliantly and were crowned South Tyneside Champions! Well done Team Matthews!
