Y2 enjoyed a morning at Marine Park where they took part in a range of outdoor and adventurous activities. They all worked really well together as a team.
Our after-school ‘Learn to ride’ bike club has been a huge success. So many of our younger pupils can now confidently ride their bikes and they understand a lot more about bike safety.
Y2 produced some incredible end of topic projects for homework. They were so good that we had to create a display in the school hall, so that the whole school community could view them. The children even impressed us with their presentation skills as well. A great effort!
Year 2 had a great time at the South Tyneside Key Stage 1 Athletic Festival at Temple Park. They took part in a carousel of different athletic activities.
We had a great time celebrating World Book Day. Each class looked at a particular author and dressed up as a character from a particular book. We held a parade at the start of the day! The standard of the costumes was possibly the best standard we’ve ever had! Well done to all!
