CURRENT VACANCIES AT ST MATTHEW’S CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT VACANCY
15 hours per week, term time only (as this is a South Tyneside post, Term Time includes the 5 CPD days)
9am -12noon Monday to Friday
Salary: £19, 099.98.00 pro rata (£6,551.97 per year)

The Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle has a growth plan for Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust to serve South Tyneside, Sunderland and East Durham, with a total of 34 schools in the Trust by July 2022.
Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust was established in February 2016, currently there are 29 schools within the Trust with a schedule of additional schools joining each term. The details of each of the schools currently within the Trust can be found on our website www.bccet.org.uk.
Required for September 2022, the Governors of St Matthew’s Catholic Primary School are looking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to join this vibrant school community and dedicated staff team.
We are looking for someone who will:
- Provide routine general clerical, administrative and financial support to the school
- Provide efficient organisational and administrative support to school such as typing letters, photocopying, sorting mail, sending attendance messages
- Undertake reception duties, answering routine telephone and face-to-face enquiries and signing in visitors, including providing basic hospitality

Contract: Permanent, part time – term time only

LUNCHTIME SUPERVISOR VACANCY
7.5 hours per week, term time only
Salary: Band 3, £19, 099.98, pro rata (£3,570.08 per year)

- Ensuring positive interactions with children
- Administering First Aid when necessary (appropriate training will be provided)
- Leading playground games
- Managing behaviour
- Maintaining discipline throughout the lunchtime breaks, in accordance with guidance given by senior members of staff
- Ensuring that an accurate record of incidents is kept
